Tried & True Nannies Launches Annual Family Sponsorship Program

At Tried and True - Nannies & Sitters, faith, compassion, and community are at the heart of everything we do. Families trust us with what matters most-- and now, it's our turn to give something back.

We're proud to announce our annual family sponsorship program, created to help families in need across Middle Tennessee by covering one nanny placement fee each year.

Our goal is simple: to remove one major financial stressor for a family walking through a difficult season so they can focus on healing, rebuilding, and being together.

The Heart Behind the Program

This idea was born from a story that deeply touched us.

Not long ago, a mother we had once interviewed with reached back out. Years ago, she and her husband-- a local pastor-- decided she would stay home with their children.

Recently, tragedy struck. She lost both her husband and one of her sons in a devastating accident on the way to church. She's now pregnant with a baby boy and raising her two daughters on her own.

After hearing her story, our team, placement coordinator, and attorney all agreed: we couldn't charge her a retainer fee. It didn't sit right with us.

So we made a decision that came straight from the heart.

She became the first family we're officially sponsoring through our new Tried and True- Nannies & Sitters Family Sponsorship Program.

She'll still pay her nanny directly, but we're covering her placement fee in full-- so she can focus on her family and her faith without the added financial stress.

Faith in Action

As a preacher's daughter myself, I know what it means to live out your faith-- to show up for people when they need it most.

This sponsorship isn't about publicity; it's about purpose. It's about walking in obedience and doing what's right, even when no one's watching.

Sometimes, grace looks like letting others help. That's the heart of this entire program-- to be a light for someone when life feels dark.

How to Nominate a Family for the Tried & True Family Sponsorship Program

Starting next year, we'll invite our followers to nominate families directly through our social media pages.

Here's how it will work:

• We'll make a post on Facebook and Instagram when nominations open.

• You can nominate a family by commenting or sending us a message sharing their story (with their permission)

• Our team will read every submission, pray over them, and select one family from Middle Tennessee to sponsor that year.

We're keeping it simple, heartfelt, and community-driven-- no forms, no complicated steps, just people helping people.

Why It Matters

This program is a reminder that there's still good in this world-- and that when faith meets action, powerful things happen.

We hope this inspires others to look for ways to give, love, and lift up those around them. Because at the end of the day, that's what community is all about.
