America Has Forgotten How to Love

A Crisis of the Heart
Somewhere along the way, our country began confusing disagreement with division. Children aren’t born hating-- they learn it. Hate is not instinct; it’s taught. And the tragic truth is that when we teach hate, we reap violence. The recent assassination of public figures and everyday acts of cruelty are sobering reminders that words now cost lives.
This isn’t about left or right. It’s about basic human decency. No person-- whether conservative, progressive, gay, straight, believer, or non-believer-- should ever face harm for their opinions. Free speech isn’t truly free if we fear death for speaking.

Our Business Stands on Love, Not Politics
Most businesses would stay silent out of fear of backlash. I won’t. God is in control of this company, and He will take care of it. Life will always matter more than politics.
Tried & True Nannies exists to nurture children and support families. That mission requires hearts committed to respect and dignity for every person. If we cannot protect life and speak out for love, what are we really modeling to the next generation?
Because of that, here is our non-negotiable policy:
If any nanny on our team or any client we serve is found posting or sharing hate; especially justifying the assassination of Charlie Kirk or any person, they will be removed immediately.
This violates professional workplace ethics, breaches common social media codes of conduct, and does not represent who we are as a company.
Choosing a Better Way
Healing starts in our homes and communities, not in Washington. Every post we make online, every dinner table conversation, every interaction with someone we disagree with can either build bridges or burn them.
Reject violence and threats. No ideology justifies murder.
Challenge hateful speech. Silence in the face of cruelty allows hate to grow.
Model respect and love. Children imitate what they see; show them how to disagree without dehumanizing.
As a Christian, I believe faith calls us to guard our words, slow our anger, and choose love when emotions run high. Even for those who don’t share my faith, human decency alone demands the same.
America, We Can Do Better
America has forgotten how to love; but we can remember.
It’s time to refuse the culture of contempt, to speak life instead of death, and to teach the next generation that love isn’t weakness; it’s strength.
This is not a partisan statement. It’s a human one. Whether you are a parent, nanny, or neighbor, you have the power to help our nation remember how to love.
